The Opportunity:We are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team and drive recruitment efforts across multiple channels. This role is essential in helping us attract, engage, and hire top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding. As a TA Specialist, you will develop sourcing strategies, manage job postings, maintain relationships with candidates, and support recruiting initiatives-all while ensuring our hiring practices reflect the values and evolving needs of Standard Process.
What You'll Do:
Recruitment & Candidate Engagement
Develop and execute recruiting strategies across job boards, social media, employee referrals, and job fairs
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective candidates, networking partners, and vendors
Write engaging job postings and maintain visibility on platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed
Cultivate relationships with candidates in the pipeline and promote SP's employer brand Sourcing & Screening
Source and screen candidates through resume reviews, phone interviews, and other assessments
Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop effective hiring criteria
Manage postings on internal/external platforms in compliance with employment laws and policies Interview & Selection
Coordinate interview logistics, communications, and travel when needed
Support the full selection process including references, background checks, and offer negotiations
Maintain accurate candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Talent Community & School Relations
Build partnerships with local schools, universities, and student organizations
Promote job opportunities through flyers, presentations, and other engagement opportunities
Source and engage candidates for seasonal work and/or internship opportunities Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Generate recruitment reports, analyze pipeline metrics, and track hiring costs and efficiency
Stay up to date on industry trends and recommend improvements to recruitment strategies Compliance & Job Description Management
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies throughout all recruitment activities
Create and update job descriptions with hiring managers and HRBPs What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Experience & Skills:
1-3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
