ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Project Manager supports the Director of Operations with both regional/national projects. In this role the Project Manager will lead projects across the BI, EHB and PCS business lines working with department leads and others to guarantee a successful on time outcome. These projects are crucial to creating better alignment, efficiencies, and essential best practices.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

Coordinate and prioritize project tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule.

Coordinating staff and internal resources.

Provide support to the project team, including assisting with goals and deliverables.

Perform queries (report system & Excel) and data analysis to determine issues, draw conclusions, problem solve and make recommendations.

Generate reports for data clean-up, quality control, data health check and data metrics.

Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.

Supports operational reporting changes/needs for field.

Compile, organize and assess operational data.

Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.

Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Five years of relevant insurance industry work experience preferred.

Appropriate, current insurance license as applicable preferred.

Must have excellent analytical skills, as well as superior database skills

AMS 360 experience a plus

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint

Strong oral and written communication skills are required

Strong organizational skills

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
