Front End Engineer, UX/UI Designer

Who You Are

We are searching for an experienced Front End Developer, UX/UI Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating user and business needs into functional front end design. If you enjoy solving challenging problems and have strong design instincts we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Design user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications

Create and optimize user flows, wireframes, information architecture, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas

Produce static demo sites with intuitive and beautiful responsive user interface that demonstrate solid understanding of visual design principles

Work with the product and development team to take the UI and user flows from the initial concept to full functionality

Identify ways to enhance existing products with new features

Qualifications

Proficiency in Figma and experience with other standard UX software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass, Less), Javascript, and React

Experience in UI development using modern frameworks such as AntD, MUI, Bootstrap, etc.

Experience using version control systems, preferably Git

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Solid understanding of user-centered design processes and methodologies.

Lead our strategy on cross-product branding, including setting the tone for cross-product copy

Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and industry best practices, and share knowledge within the team

Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, industry tools, and emerging UI/UX technologies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and across departments

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles

Nice To Have

Experience in web accessibility (e.g. WCAG, ADA) and related software (e.g. screen readers, WAVE, Axe)

Experience with copywriting

Strong understanding of Typescript and it’s type system and how to utilize it effectively in React projects
