Med Supply US is a medical supply company that provides diabetic supplies to patients and doctors offices. We are looking for a full-time Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish and English) to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and bilingual individual proficient in Spanish and English to join our team as a Bilingual Medical Sales Representative, specializing in Durable Medical Equipment (DME). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our range of DME products to healthcare professionals and facilities serving Spanish-speaking communities.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.

Collect patient information, including personal details, medical history, and insurance coverage, using electronic medical record systems or paper forms.

Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details, including copayments, deductibles, and any pre-authorizations required for services.

Explain financial responsibilities to patients and assist them in understanding insurance benefits and billing procedures.

Coordinate appointments and referrals for patients with various healthcare providers or departments within the facility.

Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care.

Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing documents, and processing referrals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient intake or registration.

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare software.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing processes, and regulatory requirements.

Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
