Devops Engineer

Our Versent Modern Run practice is looking for a Devops Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing, optimising, and supporting our clients' cloud environments.

On a day to day you will collaborate with our cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of cloud solutions in AWS.

To be successful in the role, you'll be doing

Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS,

Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Is responsive to client alerts, incidents, problems, changes and service requests within agreed SLAs; via the client’s preferred ITIL Service Management tools or Slack, Email, chat, phone, etc as required.

Provide exceptional customer support and build strong client relationships.

Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support when necessary.

Focuses on automation and continuous improvement to drive improved outcomes for our clients and team.

Collaborates and co-ordinates with their team and client Engineers to resolve incidents, problems or implement changes; openly sharing and utilising their advanced knowledge as required.

Understands CI and CD processes.

Works productively in a high-pressure environment, keeping emotions under control and maintaining a positive outlook at work.

Is open, honest and authentic in their communication.
