Automation Engineer

Summary: Management Business Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer for its client in Whitehall, MI. This individual would be responsible for supporting of projects.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for automating manual processes.

Working with operators, vendors, and design teams.

Follow through the build phase and implementation of equipment into production and establishing PM’s to support.

Responsible for redesign / replacement of failing robotic components.

Development and implementation of new advanced manufacturing equipment and automation.

Support justification of capital funding requisitions.

Responsible for project management and performance metrics.

Provide support and development of automation technicians.

Support engineering and manufacturing teams to improve existing processes.

Coordinate all robotic service visits.

Developing technician troubleshoot guides.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering required.

3+ years of experience working with controls and programing robotics required.Experience with PLC programming required

Plant floor and project implementation experience in a manufacturing environment required

Working knowledge of unit operations such as heat balance, fan sizing, pump sizing, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, physics in motion.
