Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge clients' mental health conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and therapeutic needs.
Deliver personalized therapy sessions, employing evidence-based and solution-focused approaches tailored for adult clients.
Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide seamless virtual sessions, ensuring consistent care regardless of geographic location.
Offer crisis intervention services to clients in need, applying techniques that promote safety and stability.
Commit to continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying updated on mental health best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our mental health counselors work with a varied and diverse client population, primarily adults facing a range of mental health challenges. You will provide services to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, and more. Addressing unique cultural backgrounds and personal experiences, you will develop culturally sensitive treatment plans that resonate with the clients' life circumstances.
Qualifications
Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients.
Exhibit a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy, reinforcing a safe space for clients.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring effective case handling and adherence to treatment schedules.
No history of disciplinary actions on professional licensing boards.
Preferred Experience
Experience in delivering telehealth services, ideally with familiarity with relevant technology and digital platforms.
Prior experience in a community health setting, enhancing understanding of diverse client needs and backgrounds.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
