About the Role

This role leads enterprise-wide sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management to ensure reliable supply, cost efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and lead global sourcing and category strategies across direct and indirect spend

Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing (RFI/RFQ/RFP, negotiations, contracts, supplier onboarding)

Build and maintain a strong, risk-mitigated supplier network

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers

Partner with Operations, Planning, and Sales to ensure material availability and inventory optimization

Track and drive procurement KPIs (cost savings, OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)

Lead supplier quality and sustainability initiatives with cross-functional teams

Establish procurement policies, compliance standards, and best practices

Hire, develop, and lead procurement team members

Implement and optimize procurement systems and tools (ERP, eSourcing, analytics)

Manage budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting

Support new product introductions and cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing leadership experience

Strong experience in manufacturing environments (chemicals, packaging, MRO preferred)

Proven success negotiating complex supplier agreements

Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools

Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills

Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Experience with supplier risk management and multi-sourcing strategies preferred

MBA or certifications (CPSM, CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus
