Salary: $75k–$77k

Shift: 2nd Shift 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Location: Fallon, NV

About the Role

This role oversees production operations in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality, sanitation compliance, and efficient equipment performance. The Production Supervisor leads and develops production staff while driving safety, regulatory compliance, and production performance.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and direct production employees to ensure safe and efficient operations

Ensure all products meet quality standards and remain within accepted specifications

Monitor equipment performance to maintain maximum efficiency and minimize downtime

Verify equipment is operating within required parameters and production standards

Audit CIP processes and perform random inspections of equipment after sanitation cycles

Monitor chemical strengths and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance

Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, safety, and plant regulatory requirements

Achieve production goals (KPIs) and document root causes when targets are not met

Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) is followed including ATP inspections and chemical titrations

Train operators and provide technical support for troubleshooting equipment

Schedule and coordinate production staff and monitor time and attendance

Coach, motivate, and develop employees to improve productivity and morale

Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Kaizen, and 5S programs

Maintain accurate production and sanitation documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

5+ years of production experience in food or dairy manufacturing preferred

5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety standards

Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety requirements

Experience with production reporting systems and Microsoft Office tools

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Certifications:

Nevada Department of Public Health Milk Sampler Certification

Certified Industry Analyst certification for PMO Appendix-N testing of drug residue in milk

SQF Practitioner Certification
