• Ensuring 100% availability of pipeline operations.

• Ensuring 100% availability of communication system by maintaining telephone exchanges and other communication devices so that the pipeline operation can be carried out smoothly.

• Planning monthly maintenance schedule of various engine/pump mounted instruments and field instruments and ensuring its implementation with the best utilization of the available resources.

• Leading the team of technicians and foremen to ensure proper and timely maintenance of various equipments.

• Liaison with third party for getting various contracts completed within the contractual period as per the terms of the contract.

• Attending any breakdown of equipment in minimum possible time. Ensuring 100% availability of Standby Equipments so as to minimize plant shutdown time.

• Maintaining PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) SCADA (Supervisory Control and data Acquisition) System. Carrying out modification in the ladder Logic of the PLC as and when required.

• Maintaining and implementing new IS related works. Ensuring proper functioning of Organizations’ E-mail, SAP, SCADA and Internet servers.

• Creating Purchase Orders, Service Entry sheets and processing bills of various Vendors.

• Planning and Executing various Telecom and Instrumentation related projects in plant by proper co-ordination of the team members.

• Part of the project lead in various projects such as:

1. DRA (Drag Reducer Additive) injection to increase the flow rate of crude being pumped in the pipeline.

2. IPS (Intelligent Pig Survey) for determining the thickness and state of the mainline pipes.

3. SCADA up gradation and validation.

4. Leak detection system for Salaya-Mathura Pipeline.
