Project Title : Manufacture of Zinc

Duration : 6 Months

Description : History of Zinc, various processes involved in its

manufacture and selection of a particular process (i.e.,

Electrolysis Process) is discussed. Calculations on

material balance, energy balance around different

equipment and design of equipment are done. Finally

cost estimation, health and safety factors, various

important uses and plant layout are discussed.
