Responsibilities:
Environmental issues – can’t access Informatica objects; folders, workflows, sessions, mappings due to privileges. Client applications shutdown or freeze, or any other issues in the development environment.
Unplanned Activities - Restart Informatica services due to problems encountered on the network, datacenter, or PowerCenter application. Send email notification to Informatica user community and subject matter experts regarding outage, proposed resolution and related activities, including request to verify scheduled production workflows and sessions are executed after production system is back on-line.
Functional issues – Data conversion issues, Integration services going down, repository services going down. Sessions aborting or returning warning or error messages, etc.
Diskspace – Follow up regarding problems with disk space on Unix environment. Perform cleanup of old and huge files created in wrong directories. Follow up with different teams to maintain and clean up cache files, archive files, and files in sort and work directories.
Contact Informatica Support:
Submit Service requests with Informatica support on behalf of developers experiencing problems within the Informatica development or production environment. Send core and trace files, domain, repository, and integration service logs and other environment information working with Informatica support to resolve open issues.
