As a contractor and team leader, was responsible for supervising and training six to eight technicians to assess, repair, and install the inside and outside plant infrastructures for various Afghanistan National Army (ANA) locations. Traveled throughout Afghanistan to various military sites to assess, repair, install, terminate, ground and perform quality control on the fiber optic, voice and data cabling infrastructure. Assisted project manager with the successful completion of the first phase in the ANA project. After completing the ANA project, became the ISAF Force Tracking System (IFTS) Team Lead, responsible for supervising six technicians in installing approximately 500 IFTS systems throughout the Afghanistan Theater of Operations. Also responsible for tracking all hand receipts, ensuring all required training was completed and documented, coordinating local transportation, housing and subsistence for the team. As the team lead, was first point of contact for resolving all customer scheduling conflicts and technical issues. Assisted the IFTS system manager with successfully completing the IFTS installation.
