CONTROLLER
Currently the controller for Kimbrell Electric and in charge of the accounting and office including A/R, A/P, Payroll, HR, General Ledger and all other accounting functions for this $25 Million a year electrical contractor.
Accomplishments:
Changed accounting program from QuickBooks to ComputerEase.
Prepared financial statements by the 10th of the month.
03/04 – 05/05 Joseph Lambros Consulting Metro Phoenix
CONSULTANT
Worked with several mid-sized companies in a role of a part time Controller. Met the needs of these companies by helping solve problems such as filling in until a new controller was hired, or taking on project responsibilities.
Accomplishments:
Changed inventory system including accounting software for one company.
Changed accounting software to Timberline for a landscape company.
12/98 – 03/04 J. R. Mcdade Company, Inc. Phoenix
CONTROLLER
Responsible for all accounting functions including A/R, A/P, P/R, general ledger and preparing financial statements for this $40 million a year flooring subcontractor. As controller my responsibilities included all aspects of the accounting, information, and human resource functions plus all company benefits. J. R. Mcdade’s major sales area was new home flooring working as a subcontractor to new home builders. They averaged over 300 homes, or jobs, in progress at any one time. Job costing and inventory were my two major responsibilities for this company.
Accomplishments:
Greatly decreased the timing of the financial statement preparation.
Hired and trained accounting staff.
Created a training program for purchasing staff.
08/96 – 12/98 Structures, Inc. Gilbert
CONTROLLER
Responsible for all the accounting functions for this $40 million a year concrete and plumbing subcontractor. Created and maintained general ledger and financial statements. Reviewed contracts and worked with the general manager on liens, billings, and collections of large contracts.
Accomplishment:
Created the first financial statements for this company.
Moved the company from a paper system to MAS 90 accounting software.
12/83 – 02/96 United Dairymen of Arizona Tempe

CONTROLLER (06/84 – 02/96)
United Dairymen of AZ is a $250 million per year milk coop. $150 million is wholesaling of milk to the valley and $100 million is from manufacturing milk products. Responsible for all accounting functions including A/R, A/P, P/R, general ledger through financial statements, pension and health benefits, all human resource functions and prepared the $200 million budgets for all the departments. Created and prepared all cost accounting to assist plant and manufacturing managers.
Accomplishments:
Created a routing system for the transportation department which saved so much money that it allowed the coop to lower transportation fees to its members for the first time.
Put the $7 million a year service and supply center on ACCPACC accounting software to be able to reduce the inventory and increase service to our coop members at the same time.
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
I have experience in many different accounting software packages including Timberline, MAS90, QuickBooks, ACCPAC, Pro Series, Maxwell, RFMS, Computer Ease and all Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Access.
At each of the above companies and throughout my career as Controller I have been responsible for the MIS departments. This would include everything from software to servers to printers.
