I am a 20+year professional with experience working in both public and private companies. I have held the responsibility for Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Scheduling, and Distribution.

I have performed and managed these areas. I have been referred to as the catalyst for keeping all areas on track and working toward the goal to satisfy both company and customer objectives.

Responsibilities: Day to day activities of Purchasing, Customer Service, Scheduler, Plant Supervisor and Warehouse. Coordinated all activities within the organization, and ensured that all directives from GM were being followed and processed as planned.

• Monitored inventory levels to service customer’s needs, advised scheduler when necessary and advised CSR to contact Sales Reps to obtain the order necessary to meet required inventory level.

• Moved companies from min/max inventory to demand based inventory, realizing more efficient spend and turns of inventoried items.

• Developed SOP’s for Purchasing, Customer Service, and Prepress department, this ensured Sales and Customer Service received proper information and guidelines from GM were being followed.

• Supervised Human Resource Coordinator for adherence to reviews, workers comp, payroll

• Worked with Plant Manager and Shift Supervisors to develop PIP programs for production staff

• Directly involved with hiring decisions for all levels, training of staff for safety and general procedures

• Monitored Quality Control, Production Schedule, Shipping/Receiving to ensure adherence to ISO practices

• Developed a vendor performance program resulting in our vendors providing improved service, less defects, which had a direct positive impact on our service and quality ratings with our customers.

• Participated in integration of newly acquired company into PrintSouth, worked directly with new sales force and customers to explain our processes, to assist customers with the transition to PS. Ensured this newly acquired customer base was comfortable with PS and worked their orders through production personally when necessary.

• Handled Key Accounts reporting, any major issues that arose, was the person that handled escalated calls. Assisted CSR’s with rush orders, late orders and any issue that required additional attention.

Responsibilities: Departments that were my direct responsibility, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Plant Supervisor, Shipping/Receiving, Estimating, Customer Service, and Receptionist.

Responsible for the day to day coordination of production, inventory control, purchasing, billing, customer service, estimating and shipping/receiving departments

• Developed SOP’s for Customer Service Department. This allowed for all CSR’s to provide a consistent service approach.

• Developed with outside software company new inventory, order entry, and scheduling programs to allow for efficient reports. Through continued review and changes in programming we were able to increase the companies’ sales by 3 million dollars and reduced staff by 50%

• Wrote all SOP’s for the company, this saved time in training of new employees and allowed for all employees to perform task with uniformity

• Managed a newly acquired West Coast sales team, worked directly with Sales Reps, Customers to ensure smooth processing of orders, freight concerns, and to ensure delivery dates were met.

• Directly involved with E-commerce bidding, setting up and billing for a few of these programs

• Prepared daily, weekly and monthly reports for the General Manager. These included credit issues, production load, lead time schedules, plant efficiency repots, payroll concerns (OT hours usage)

• Directly involved with preparing budgets, sales goals, and the review of these items throughout the year

Held several positions with this company: Customer Service Rep, Customer Service Manager, Operations Manager, held Operation Manager Position from 09/96 to 10/2000

Responsibilities: Day to day activities of the organization from receptionist to production

• Developed SOP’s for Customer Service. This allowed for all locations to present consistent service and answers to customers both internal and external.

• Created tools that monitored inventory levels to service customer’s needs, advised sales of aging items and level loaded the production schedule.

• Worked with Production Supervisor to ensure adequate planning, scheduling, and on time delivery of products

• Performed on site human resources functions including payroll, workers comp and new hire paperwork, interviewing, hiring at all levels, and assisting other managers with sensitive employee issues.

• As Autron was being sold, worked with all employees to assist with resume writing, interview skills, and worked with local companies to obtain employment for these displaced employees. Was successful at finding over 70% of employees new employment

• Prepared and implemented a Customer Service Manual of procedures, policy which was used for all the satellite offices. This allowed for uniformity of customer responses no matter where they called

• Developed and maintained sales force leads, new customers, complaint issues reports that allowed a review of sales forces success and activity.

• Performed vendor analysis, this allowed an average savings of 15-25% from our long time vendors.

• Managed with COO a computer conversion, this included recommending information to transfer, training employees, and entering data. Continued to improve system and reports.

• Directly involved with the sale of Autron, from due diligence to selling of equipment and also found almost 65% of displaced employees new jobs.

• Worked with new owners to assist with a smooth transition of the companies products in their facility.
