ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Web Designing:

Designed a full fledged e-commerce web site to for buy and sell of posters. Have used HTML to initially to design the contents for a page and then CSS to add styles to the page in different manner, used ASP.NET framework 4 and scripting was done in C#.

Quorum System:

A JAVA application which deals with categorizing processes into quorums. Granting permissions to a centralized resource using the Maekawa’s algorithm. Also solving some of the general problems faced by the distributed system.

Design of Database for an Enterprise:

Used MySQL to design the database of an enterprise, totally considering the number of users on the whole in the company. Written all the queries in SQL and also implemented the front end version of it.

Mutual Exclusion Algorithm:

Algorithm which deals with providing of mutual exclusion in a distributed system using Roucairol Carvalho's algorithm using JAVA.

Snapshot Protocol:

Protocol to detect the termination of the processes in a distributed system using Chandy Lamport’s Algorithm. Also solving some of the general problems faced by the distributed system using JAVA.

Design of V6 File system in UNIX :

Designed a v6 file system and implemented ten Commands in UNIX. Coding was done in C.
