Drive test for GSM, GPRS and EDGE: Drive Test, Data analysis & Network optimization

Responsibilities:

 Check daily reports from OMC and Analyzing the worst performing cells based on high drop call rate, high assign fail ratio, high Handover failure, poor call success rate, Poor uplink and downlink Quality in Network/BSC. To improve the overall signed KPIs of the area classes (Urban, suburban & rural).

 Primary optimization for verifying existing coverage, sites design objectives, pointing coverage holes.

 Handling of interference issues by change of frequency, BTS power, antenna configuration, and fine tuning for functioning of the N/W at optimum levels.

 Identification of correct Handover Targets for sites on all major & secondary traffic arteries.

 Physical Optimization by Antenna down tilt and reorientation.

 RF Drive test for optimization of the GSM networks. (TEMS Investigation Tool)

 Preparing PowerPoint Presentation of Pre & Post Optimization Rx level & Rx Qual plots.

 Neighbor optimization with the help of Map Info Professional and OMC Report (Per Neighbors Reports).

 Continuously updating MapInfo and Cell site Editor.
