Details To design and develop a vision based Lane Departure Warning System which will notify the driver in case of unintentional lane crossings.
Role & Contribution • Designing an algorithm with MATLAB V7.0/Simulink for extracting the lane information from the image frame.
• Calculating the lateral offset of the car with respect to the lane using a suitable camera calibration model.
• Porting the algorithm onto DM6437 controller
• Testing the algorithm with different videos recorded in different weather conditions.
