Worked as a quality control specialist weighing buckets to ensure that the proper amount of product was being delivered to the end customer

 Weigh buckets with cherries and sugar, and then determine the ratio to make sure it falls within the USDA guidelines

 Have scales adjusted when the ratio or weights falls out of acceptable guidelines

Ski instructor for children ages 3-6 years of age in group lesson formats.

 Managed 5-6 young children in a group ski lesson to make sure that they were kept happy, safe, and learned about skiing

Halliburton Energy Services Grand Junction, CO July 2007 to January 2009

Work as a field engineer in the production enhancement department of the Grand Junction, Colorado camp.

Gaither Petroleum Corporation Hankamer, TX May 2006 to July 2006

Interned as a Petroleum Engineer in Gaither’s Hankamer oilfield which produced approximately 400 barrels and 50 MCF of natural gas per day. Hankamer is a mature oilfield that uses artificial lift to extract the hydrocarbons and salt water.

 Observed coiled tubing, slickline, frac units, and workover rigs servicing wells and learned the engineering capabilities that these services provide to production companies

 Gained an understanding of the production end of the oilfield by working with pumpers and roustabouts in Hankamer field and Chocolate Bayou. Experienced first-hand the common problems that are encountered in the oilfield, and worked with crews to implement the appropriate solutions

PRTI Innovative Well Services Houston, TX July 2006 to August 2006

Worked on the floor of a workover rig as a floor hand. Gained an on-the-job education of the oilfield, and the tasks a work over rig can accomplish.

 Operated the machinery of the floor, and gained first hand experience with standard workover rig operations

 Learned oilfield basics through hands-on learning and servicing of oil wells. Learned many things from the tool pusher, operators, and company man

 Serviced four different wells performing re-completions, completions, clean-outs, and swabbing

 Observed wireline operations including perforations, logging, and setting of down hole tools

Delphi Thermal Systems High School Co-op Lockport, NY September 2002 – June 2004

Worked at Delphi Harrison Thermal while attending high school by working one week and going to school the next. Over the course of two years, I held five different jobs, which required responsibility and maturity in order to work with assembly line workers, engineers, and management.

 Spring 2003 - Implemented a system to manage the spare parts for three of the machines, making it easier to find necessary parts when the machines go down. The expense of the machines going down for an hour is high, and the ability to locate spare parts quickly is aided by this system.

 Fall 2003 - Updated and organized company documents that were essential in corporate performance auditing conducted by General Motors which is Delphi’s largest customer. Created a system that saved future teams time in conducting the performance audit

Eagle Scout Award Barker, NY August 2003 to September 2003

Lead a group in the maintenance of the Quaker Cemetery which included the reconstruction of the perimeter wall and the removal of overgrown vegetation

 Coordinated with the Town Water Supervisor to get the necessary supplies and support for the completion of the project

 Organized a group of twenty-five Boy Scouts and adults in the rebuilding of the stone wall. Took over 250 man hours to complete over a series of four weekends, and received accolades from visitors to the cemetery

 Sixty feet of the wall was re-mended using mortar donated by the Town of Somerset
