WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Research Assistant under Dr. Carlos Busso in the Multimodal Signal Processing Lab, UTD - 2010
o Working on multi-person detection, estimation and tracking, pose and blink detection fusing AV modalities i.e., audio signals & images from a single camera on MATLAB & using OpenCV.
o Working on driver behavior analysis on UTDrive corpus from CAN-Bus and video data using data acquisition systems.
• Engineering Intern, Advanced User Interface EE Team, User Experience Team (UXT) , Motorola Mobile Devices under Tim Dickinson – Summer ‘10
o Developed and documented a LabVIEW program to read Android Data from Capacitive Touch Screen phones into a PC in real time; App development and installation on the phones using Eclipse and Android SDK; debugging using Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
o Conducted performance analysis via robot scans of various Motorola and Competitor Android Phones; thus helped UXT to be able to perform competitive analysis across phones.
o Contributed by filing a disclosure, accepted to be pursued to be filed for a patent.
o Assisted Team members on various other products.
• Research Assistant under Dr. Philip Loizou in the Cochlear Implant Lab, UTD on MATLAB - Fall ‘09
o Worked on signal processing algorithms for Cochlear Implants, recruiting and conducting experiments for subjects and analysis of results of the same.
• Research Assistant under Dr. Alice O’Toole in Face Recognition Lab at UTD on MATLAB - Spring ‘09
o Pattern classification of fMRI images for Face Recognition and study of Other-Race effect
