Title: A Compact & efficient FPGA implementation of DES algorithm

Description: Data Encryption Standard (DES) is the block cipher that takes 64 bit plain text and uses a 64 bit key to produce 64 bit plain text. In this project an efficient and compact design that takes much less space and operates at high speed than existing algorithms. . Implementing cryptographic algorithms on reconfigurable hardware provides major benefits over VLSI (very large scale integrated circuits) and software platforms since they offer high speed similar to VLSI and high flexibility similar to software.
