General duties & key responsibilities includes :-

• Planning daily transactions of Oil terminal operations as per standard operating procedure.

• Organize PLT & Bunkering operations

• Co-ordinate Jetty/ Warf operators for supply through barge using VHF communication.

• Monitor Tank farm and pump station /manifold, line–up, Hammer blind valve operation etc.

• Monitor meters, gauges and observe density/ temperature to ensure Products are

• Sampling for batch formation, quality control management as per MARPOL-chapter- vi ,73/78 & ISO.8217

• Schedule operations and other logistics as per business requirements.

• Maintains close liaison with vessel, owner/charter, Agent, port authority, for ensure timely berthing/sail out.

• Recommends appointment of third party surveys where necessary in consultation with Customer/ Terminals.

• Supervises preparation of necessary documentation, letter, protests, outturns, etc. required for during the tanker discharge or pipeline transfer/bunker supply.

• Monitor gauging, sampling of various product tanks to ensure delivery qualities of products are matching with specifications and maintain records.

• Coordinate with surveyors and refinery operations dept. for receipt of products through pipeline.

1. Oversee the implementation of the Bunker purchasing process in order to ensure full compliance with the contractual terms and conditions agreed with vendors.

Ensure a timely delivery of bunkers to vessels so as to allow a smooth operation of the fleet.

3. Report to the head of the department any situation that may adversely affect the bunker purchasing system and procedures.

4. Monitor the obligations of barge deliveries and mediate between suppliers, fleet, operations and legal department if disputes occur that could cause conflicts of interest to the bunkering program.

5. Provide courteous and reasonable assistance to any staff that may be involved in operations.

6. Provide assistance to all departments directly involved in bunkers and operations and ensure professional back-up and facilities are available.

7. Organize and maintain an efficient requisition, purchase order and reporting system.

8. Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of services and environmental compliance

9. Prepare the Bunker Purchasing department budget and monitor financial performance versus budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

10. Ensure all relevant operational procedures and instructions are followed so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

OPERATIONS

1. Schedule oil terminal manpower

2. Coordinate vessel and transfer movements

3. Reconcile sales and inventory in oil terminal

4. Send daily reports as per MIS

5. Oversee general maintenance of oil terminal

6. Work with other company managers and supervisors, and provide any support or assistance as needed.

Oil terminal /LPG Maintenance & Repair

1. Prepare plans for maintenance of fire water pumps, water monitors, Hydrant, DCP fire extinguishers, Co2 extinguisher, Sprinkler system, AFFF trolley etc.

2. Plan and Coordinate online running repairs/maintenance of equipment to avoid/ reducing machinery downtime to minimum.

3. Conducting regular inspection and tests to ensure the performance capacity of various machines and equipments.

4. Ensuring optimum level of spare parts to achieve cost savings without hampering the production process.

5. Prepare and plan materials request as and when required.

6. Conducting regular inspection and tests ensure the performance capacity of various machines and equipments i.e. LPG pumps, compressors, carrousel

• Filling machine, chain Conveyor, Hydraulic systems with pneumatic controls ROVs, gauges, safety fittings of pressure vessels etc.

• Supervise testing of hoses and pressure gauges, weigh machines etc.

• Troubleshooting, predictive / preventive maintenance to reducing machinery downtime to minimum.

• Ensuring optimum level of spare parts to achieve cost savings without hampering the production process.

• Supervise SRV testing for annual test

• Monitor and co-ordinate NDT of LPG storage bullets

LPG OPERATIONS

1. Responsible for safe operation of LPG Plant / Production Management/ storage, decantation maintain production log book, stock control and stock loss etc.

2. Receive and dispatch LPG bulk, cylinders / new cylinders/ and repaired cylinders.

3. Maintain and checking daily stock , gauging, physical inventory of cylinders

4. Oversee all operations as per SOP of the LPG Storage and Bottling Plant with a total commitment to quality, correct quantity and prompt delivery.

5. Actively involved in planning for materials, developing systems to obtain timely procurement of materials and equipments to facilitate smooth production process with in budgetary parameters.

6. Monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs, Quality Compliance and Manpower planning to ensure target production.

7. Monitor and supervise to ensure employees and contract workers are strictly working in compliances with SH & Environment policy of the company.

ERP

1. Maintain Emergency Response Plan including annual review

3. Ensure that appropriate measures are in place for the various levels of security threats

4. Ensure that all required security training is provided

5. Ensure that all required security drills and exercises are conducted

6. Maintain records of all training, drills, exercises, terminal access logs, screening logs, security equipment inspections, and vessel Declaration of Security forms

7. Oversee the administration of IR requirements for all terminal employees
