2001 - 2004 Corning IntelliSense, Wilmington, MA. Process Technician III, Processed surface and bulk micro machined devices. Accountable for fabrication of electromagnetically actuated optical switches that required DRIE Si etching, polyimide layer definition, and electroplated metals. Responsible for processing multiple parallel wafer lots through development runs and assisting in preparing for the transfer to manufacturing. Identified problems and deficiencies in the process and worked with engineers to implement corrective actions, which resulted in an increase in line yields from 30% to 80%.

2000 – 2001 Process Technician II, Worked with engineering team to develop several processes including DRIE through-wafer etching, metal lift-off of hard metallic alloys and batch development processes for thick photo-resist micro molds used in electroplating. Trained new technicians on MEMS processes.

1997 - 2000 Analog Devices, Wilmington, MA. Process technician, Performing various functions in the fab and or trim area such as running developing/coating tracks and aligners/steppers; setting up and maintaining stations and SPC charts.
