2006-Feb 2010 BLACKBOX NETWORK SERVICES:
Senior Service Engineer: Currently responsible for remote diagnostics on
Nortel Meridian systems, form OPT-11c to 81c's and Callservers. Remotely
diagnose and resolve customer issues. Answer Customer calls and open trouble
case and goal is to resolve issues on 1st call customer makes to BlackBox.
Support same products as with Nextiraone including BCM's, Callpilot, OTM.

Technical Service Engineer:
Currently work as a telecommuter in the Remote Diagnostic Group. Our goal is dispatch
avoidance. We are the first line of repair when the customer calls in for service or
AMC'S. We work under time constraints according to what level of urgency the repair is
opened, for example a Major or a Minor. For the most part the repairs are assigned by
skillset and the products I am responsible for are the two listed in this paragraph and the
ones listed in the paragragh below. The 2 items to add to the list below are 1. Nortel Call
Pilot Administration certified and 2. InstantOffice Installation, Design and Management
certified. (This is a Vertical Networks product). 3. Nortel BCM Business
communications Manager.
1997-2002 WILLIAMS COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTIONS:
Senior Technical Specialist: Primarily responsible for testing and repairing Northern
Telecom PBX's OPT-11 through OPT-81c. ISDN, Primary Rate Interface, copper trunks,
Meridian Mail, Meridian Max, Meridian Link, CCR, Meridian Administration Tools
(MAT), Symposium Call Center Server and Symposium Client, Remote carrier, Miran,
Meridian Terminal Emulator (MTE) and remote clearing. Also responsible for new
installations, software and hardware upgrades to the above items.
1992-1997 NORTEL COMMUNICATIONS:
Senior Technical Specialist: The same responsibilities as described above including
performing preventative maintenance on equipment installed by Nortel. Analyzed
operational malfunctions with testing equipment such as T-bird, T-Com T-1 circuit
analyzers and volt/ohm meters and Ziad circuit/line analyzers.
1984-1992 PACTEL MERIDIAN SYSTEMS:
Technical Specialist: Responsibilities included onsite technician at the Hyatt Hotel,
Kaiser Hospital and Imperial Savings. In addition, I handled the change orders (AMC'S),
repairs and upgrades as needed.
1982-1984 TELINK BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS:
Technician: Responsibilities included running station cable, voice and data on new
installations and on adds moves and changes. Also installing new sets, cross-connecting
and troubleshooting sets. Supervised cable installation crew of up to 8 people. Planned
new cable installations, determined cable footage needed, jacks needed, amount of time
to complete and test end to end.
1976-1982 U.S ARMY
Communications Specialist: Accomplished achieving the rank of E-5 SGT- in 3 yrs,
where normally it takes 5 years. Primarily responsible for providing landline and Radio
communications between companies. That entailed running station cable and connecting
telephones. Also installed switchboards and operated switchboards. Supervised up to 20
people in order to complete the installation of the required communications needs.
