Conducted extensive geological investigations for single-span bridge construction. Completed geologic investigation for custom build single-family residences in steep hillside terrains in Williams Canyon, Santa Ana Mountains.

Project Geologist, Mactec Engineering, Inc., Irvine, CA 2007-2009 Performed preliminary hazardous waste site assessments of Honeywell plants at Long Beach and Torrance, CA. Soil and ground water contamination investigation, physical and chemical characteristics of the hazardous constituent, including toxicity, concentration, and potential for migration. Conducted a feasibility study for remediation and mitigation of the adverse effects from the release, and evaluated cost-effectiveness of each alternative. Assessed compliance with EPA and DTSC guidelines.

Senior Project Geologist, URS Corporation, Santa Ana, CA 2006-2007

Performed geological investigation for the longest single-span precasted bridge in America on highway SR-2. RQD drilling (rock quality evaluation), rock fall study, deep seated landslide study, landslide stability analysis studies, inclinometer and piezometer installations and landslide movement monitoring, slope profiles and cross sections, down-hole bore logging, geophysical surveys.

Conducted geotechnical field control for closing down deactivated service stations for ExxonMobil Corporation in Southern California; Supervised UST removal, installation of contamination monitoring wells and backfilling. Managed compliance with site-specific city regulation requirements.

Provided geologic and geotechnical supervision for development of four-story assisted living facility for Belmont Corporation.
