Firsthand Experience…
Alignments: Indicators/Lasers. Rim and Face, Reverse, A Line, Double Reverse, Lasers, both Optialign Plus and Smart, as well as Rotoalign Plus lasers. I’ve taken a class to run the Rotoalign Ultra. Can run Transit levels as well as Precision levels including K&E ect.
Pumps & Motors: Set bases on layout, elevate, and level base skids, run pipe stress, sell for final alignment, post maintenance, complete overhauls, replace seals, packing, bearings, etc…
Compressors/Blowers: Set compressors on layout, elevate, level, and align all components, run pipe stress, set seals, run oil flush, complete overhauls, Reciprocating, multistage rotary split case, centrifugal, rotary screw, etc…
Turbines: Both big & small, gas/steam, Set bases on layout, elevate, and level base skids, run pipe stress, Align, final alignment, post maintenance, and complete overhauls. I have extensive experience with Westinghouse, Coppus, Elliot, Terry, Skinner, GE, Mitsubishi, etc…

03/10-08/10: S&B Engineers and Constructers, Tyler Tx. Deleck Oil Refinery
Millwright General Foreman
~New Construction: Over the millwright department where we were installing all related equipment for a new unit for Deleck oil refinery, including, setting of equipment, all pipe stress, all alignments, up to startup. Equipment included pumps, cooling tower pumps, exchangers, vessels, towers, and several fin fans. Finished contract to completion.
12/09-03/10: Mundy/Austin, Evalca/Bassill, Both Plastic plants Millwright
~Maintenance: Millwright in both facility’s, where I repaired and overhauled several pieces of equipment including, extruder’s, pelletizers, cutters, compressors, Sun dyne pumps and many other related equipment.
5/09-11/09: Fluor, Pointe-a-Pierre, Trinidad, World GTL, Gas to liquids plant
Superintendent II O&M
~New construction: I was over 8 subcontractors for several crafts including Electrical, Instrumentation, Pipefitting, Millwright, Painters/Insulation and general labor. I was in charge of mechanical Installation, Commissioning and Start Up of various machines including Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Lube oil, glycol and cooling water systems. I finished my contract to full completion, ahead of schedule to the satisfaction of both my employer and client.
8/08-3/09: Zachary Construction, Baytown, Tx. NRG Cedar Bayou Power plant

~New Construction: Co Gen plant, I installed the Seamen’s steam turbine, shot all elevations with the P-Level, got center line with a piano wire, installed bearings, took all measurement of blades, seals, diaphragms, ect. Set rotor, aligned shafts for shaft alignment, Set up for pre steam and commissioning.
2/08-8/08: Aker Solutions, Texas City, Tx. Praxair, Gas Plant

~New Construction: I was in charge of up to 12 millwright at one time, I coordinated my crew on the days tasks, while keeping a safe working environment, I kept Aker and Praxair updated on what and where we where on schedule while maintaining that schedule. I installed two compressors while there, a Man Turbo, split case, ADD motor driven, and a Cameron reciprocating hydrogen compressor, both lube oil systems and various pumps.
10/07-2/08: Cajun, Deer Park, Tx. DOW Polyurethane plant

~New Construction: I built a Polyurethane plant for DOW chemical. I installed, set tracks, aligned three extruders/pelletizers., installed six air movers plus filters to elevation, set, aligned, and ran pipe stress on all pumps. Shot all elevations in with a transit level.
7/06-7/07: P2S, Texas City, Tx. BP/Amico PS3B Oil Refinery

~BP turnaround: In charge of all the old equipment and replacing it with new equipment. I coordinated my foreman with the tasks for that day, ordered all needed equipment and material , kept up with all the necessary paperwork, plus stayed in contact with BP’s rep’s to keep them updates and kept everyone on the same page. I completed H.S.E Leadership Training, Site Supervisory Training, plus 30 hours OSHA.
