Independent Consultant - System Engineer 1986 – Present

Over the last 24 years I have supported and maintained over 60 clients. I have installed their system, was responsible for the data migration from their previous software, installed and trained on the new software. Extensive experience in custom modifications on software packages as well as integration of new RPG programs with software. Many of the clients that I first installed on their System 36 are still my clients of the AS/400.

Implemented EDI processing with many vendors including but not limited to, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Jo-Ann, Hancock’s, True Value, and Webster. Key Achievements: speed and accuracy of the implementation and data migration and custom RPG code.

System Administrator 1979 – 1986

I was responsible for System 34 and System 36 RPG programming and daily operations of IBM-DMAS product. Modified DMAS product to support the company requirements and also wrote custom RPG programs for the business. I was the office manager and bookkeeper for the company also.

Software Programmer:

Hopatcong Public Schools, Hopatcong NJ 1972 – 1979

Responsible for attendance and Grade reporting on software I developed for the school system. Designed, created and maintained software for the school system on IBM System 32. The school system was using IBM unit record equipment, then purchased a System 32 with no software available, I was responsible for creating the data base and all the RPG programs required.
