Title : Phase III Data Analysis of ACNE.

Role : Programmer/Reporting Analyst

Team size : 8

Project in brief: A 16 week, multicenter, randomized double blind, placebo controlled, and

sequential dose response. Clinical trial designed the safety, effectiveness and tolerability of 5,

10 and 20mg. incyclinide (col-3) capsules administered once daily versus placebo capsules

administered once daily in patients with ACNE.

To evaluate the safety, efficacy and tolerability of 5, 10, 20mg col-3 capsules administered as

treatment for acne and to determine the optimal dose for phase3 testing and the longevity of

clinical effect.

Responsibilities:

Data extraction: From various files - data is extracted by using importing techniques in SAS and

create SAS datasets.

Data Preparation: By sorting and merging techniques and writing SAS code accordingly.

Data cleaning & validation: For data cleaning and validation extensively used SAS procedures like

PROC MEANS, PROC FREQ, PROC FORMAT, and PROC COMPARE.

Data Analysis: Used various SAS statistical procedures and methods for analysis of data.

Reporting: Used SAS/ODS to generate reports either in HTML, PDF or RTF formats according to the

client specifications.

Used PROC TABULATE and PROC REPORT to generate the various reportable outputs.
