Konnects Inc. 2006 – Jan 2010

Konnects pioneered the first (SaaS) social media platform (designed using Java) designed to assist traditional media companies to better”connect” and monetize their online audience. Core target market is the 48B/yr newspaper industry that is in desperate need of reinventing themselves online.

CTO & Co-Founder

Drove the strategic planning process, formulated the corporate vision and strategic direction, initiated growth strategies, lead product development initiatives, provided strategic guidance regarding operations, responsible for all new hires and helped direct capital creation efforts.

• Designed the original platform, product roadmap, directly managed and inspired development teams in addition to daily duties as CTO

• Contributed to fundraising efforts via business plan development, defined organizational structure and budget modeling attracting more than 5M in investment

• Drove company growth strategy resulting in half a million users in the first 12 months which resulted in additional funding rounds

• Led business development efforts resulting in implementation agreements with 40 newspapers in Washington State

• 100% growth in member engagement (time on site and page views) for customers by implementing Konnects technologies. Resulting in a significant increase in advertising inventory for customers

• Managed recruitment strategy and management of 26 employees domestically and in Kolkata, India.

T-Mobile 2002 – 2005

4th largest mobile carrier in the United States. Hired to transform their website from a flat information website to a fully functional e-commerce driven customer service portal for the company.

Senior Product Manager

Partnered with both internal and external teams (finance, customer care, marketing, engineering, operations, and distribution) across multiple organizations to design, implement, and manage T-Mobile.com from the ground up. Managed 3 core areas of the site including; customer acquisition, retention, and customer care.

• Increased usage of online channel to over 8 million customers within 3 years resulting in over 45M in online payments per month

• Led development team to create companies first photo blogging site, attracting over 1 million users within 6 months adding to the MMS revenue stream for the company

• Led over 30 web projects plugging T-mobile.com into major areas of the business including: marketing, accounting, sales, engineering, product development, and legal

• Helped design and launch first ever ringtone service in the United States bringing new revenue streams to the business

• Responsible for managing and growing customer acquisition online resulting in 10% of total company sales within 2 years

Microsoft 2001 – 2002

The world's #1 software company provides a variety of products and services, including its ubiquitous Windows operating systems and Office software suite.

Product Manager (Contractor)

Hired to educate Microsoft partners on the benefits of Windows 2000 server for customers. Traveled the United States presenting to audiences of 40-100+ regarding the benefits of Windows 2000 server for channel partner customers. Responsible for vendor management, the creation of marketing collateral and messaging, $500,000 in budget allocations and coordinating tight timelines.

WEB-X 1999 – 2001

One of the first database driven web development companies in Washington State. WEB-X was first outsourced JAVA shop for Razorfish.

Project Manager

• Managed team of 12 throughout multiple countries and departments including: engineering, finance, marketing, sales and vendor relations

• Managed and designed intranet system for Entercom (One of the largest radio station networks in the United States). Took 90 separate systems in 90 separate locations and created a centralized intranet resulting in increased information sharing and collaboration within the company.

• Streamlined many core processes within the company to increase organizational efficiencies

• Managed the creation of the first e-commerce site for Paramount Parks with detailed park information and fully function ticketing system resulting in over 2M in online sales the first year.
