• Joined in June 1993 as Executive [Maint] in Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited , a profit making miniratna PSU under Ministry of Steel, Govt of India, Previously a unit of Heckett Engineering USA TILL 1979. providing specialized services in waste management, cost control and recycling technology to the integrated steel plants of Steel Authority of India Limited, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam limited,Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited ,Ispat Industries Limited etc ,now at Rourkela Steel Plant Unit, Orissa state, India
• Subsequently I was raised to the position of Junior manager(Maint), Assistant Manager-II (Operation), Assistant Manager-I(Operation), and as Deputy Manager (Operation) in Dec -2007. During this period I have worked in various departments like operation, maintenance of earth moving equipment, and materials management at various sites inside Steel Plants all over India
• As on date 16 years and 08 months experience in Scrap processing and slag handling industry in Integrated Steel plants. With additional knowledge of inventory control, Material Management and procurement
This position is responsible for the supervision of production, maintenance, and staff at our plant location. The Plant Operation Manager oversees and is responsible for prompt and efficient service to customers, maintains an acceptable degree of profitability for the company, and utilizes the workforce in a manner within customer specifications.

• Implements and coordinates training and safety objectives to the workmen
• Hands-on operation of plant manufacturing functions

• As head of Operation department since June 2002, leading a team of 5 executives and 130 non-executive employees
• As Head of Operation department in Duburi unit Achieved net profit from inception
• As Head of Operation department from April-2007 in Dolvi Unit, achieved profit after a gap of 27 months from October – 2007
• As Head of Operation department from Sep- 2009 in Rourkela unit brought the unit into Operational profit from Oct- 2009
• Worked with the customers and identified new strategies to develop business and achieved targets
• As Plant operation in charge in FSNL, Duburi Unit, Diversified the plant operations by augmentation of additional jobs in Coke oven with the haulage of all coke fractions which includes Railway wagon loading, Truck loading etc in addition to Scrap and Slag Processing with an addition of only 06 operators with an increased revenue of 1.5 million INR Per Month.
