In support of DView, a Warehouse Management System, installation at all North American MOPAR, MB, and Freightliner warehouses, defined criteria and educated end users in classroom environment as well as on the job training in their warehouse. Provided customer support, answering any questions and solving all problems. Developed Report sub-system to replace MS Access reports for support of DView. Implemented Storage System Interface using C++ on a Windows Intel based platform and UNIX RISC based platform for all carousel installation sites for DView WMS contract

IBM Product Support Austin, Texas Customer Advocate 1999-2000

Directed customer support for AutoView, an MES package used to control automobile manufacture at the Honda of Canada production facility in support of their new minivan. This system included Smalltalk and C++ code installed on Windows and UNIX.

IBM Global Imbedded Production Austin, Texas Senior I/T Specialist 1996-1999

Spearheaded an international team to guide implementation of SIView, an MES package to control Semi-Conductor Fabrication Plant Operations, developed by IBM Japan, sold to a Taiwan company (TSMC), installed in the US (Manassas, VA and Vancouver, WA). Won the 1997 IBM Global Teaming Award for this effort.

IBM Industrial Systems Division Austin, Texas Advisory Software Engineer 1989-1996

Participated in developing classes for a real-time robot control system using C++ on an UNIX OS using a RISC (RS/6000) platform. Developed, coded, tested, installed, and supported turn-key systems for industrial manufacturing and data collection applications using C and C++ on an OS/2 Intel based platform. Specialized in Presentation Manager Operator Interface screens as well as the underlying code to implement them.

IBM Federal Systems Division Manassas, Virginia Software Engineer 1984-1989

Delivered code for a real-time Submarine Sonar and Combat system for the Navy’s Seawolf class Submarine. Developed, coded, and tested the active sonar for this system using ADA, Pascal, and Assembler on main frames and several military-specific computers. DOD Secret Clearance required. Participated in development of a distributed Network Operating System, NOS, which was selected for use on the international space station.
