Job profile

I wish to introduce my duties and responsibilities in HVAC field wherein I have the vigor and confidence in handling the jobs of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Dust Extraction & Dust Suppression system projects.

Responsibilities

• To prepare Heat Load Calculation for Air-conditioning system in accordance to the building survey following the ISHRAE, ASHRAE and Carrier codes.

• To prepare Capacity Calculations for ventilation system based on heat loads as well as air changes per hour whichever is higher considered in accordance to the National building codes.

• To prepare Capacity Calculations & Design for Dust Extraction system as per “American Conference for Governmental Industrial & Hygienists” (ACGIH) standards.

• To design the Dry Fog Dust Suppression system based on design capacity of the belt conveyors.

• To design the Duct following the SMACNA standards, selection of grills and diffusers, GI sheet, gauges, Hangers, supports and other duct accessories.

• Selection of various equipments such as Centrifugal Fans, Exhaust Fans, Split AC, Air/Water Cooled PAC, Chillers, AHUs, Pumps, cooling towers, compressors & other accessories.

• To prepare Calculation of Static pressure for Centrifugal Fan, head & capacity calculation for pump.

• To prepare write-up with Cost Estimation for Techno Economic Feasible Report of the systems.

• To carry out Detailed engineering based on Basic engineering to prepare detailed specifications and Bill Of quantities for Air-conditioning, Ventilation, Dust Extraction & Dust Suppression systems.

• Preparation of Design drawings, Equipment drawings and Co-ordination drawings as per client’s approval.

• To carry out Bid Evaluations, Techno commercial discussions with client & vendors, Technical recommendations of various vendor’s offers for Air-conditioning, Ventilation, Dust Extraction & Dust Suppression systems.

• Review & Approval of vendor drawings for Air-conditioning, Ventilation, Dust Extraction & Dust Suppression systems.
