* Designed a set of attachable transport brackets to roll +500 lb. Habanero systems into position.

Provide AutoCAD drafting and Inventor model design support for new product introduction group. Created and updated Inventor models and drawings meeting Applied Materials drafting requirements and ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards for release to volume manufacturing.

Special Projects:

* Developed CAD Models, production drawings and specifications from data supplied by Engineering to enhance the 200MM and 300MM magnet redesign project.

* Performed detailed tolerance studies on multiple complex parts in order to increase measuring repeatability and throughput of product for a CNC Mapper.

* Modeled a variety of gasboxes and Stepper/Servo Assemblies in order to create common modular packages and enhance the current features.

* Modeled a new fixture design to accommodate the R4 Reactive Ion Etch Chamber. Reduced the amount of assembly parts from 8 to 5 and reduced cost by 15%.

* Project Lead for EHS to create 50 plus new Hazard Labels in eight languages for products to be shipped outside the United States.

* 1998 and ‘99 - Served on a 3D CAD selection committee.

* 1998 - Worked with document control on drafting standards and best practices.

* Designed an intranet web site for the MDP NPI group to enable efficient sharing of information on project status to those both inside and outside of the group.

* Expeditiously redesigned six deposition rings and three fixtures in response to a field emergency. Coordinating with the metrology lab to measure defective rings, and designed new fixtures. These rings were used in a worldwide retrofit, saving Applied Materials a $500,000 liability.
