Project/Client : ELKON Drum Leasing Solutions, Ahmadabad, India

Role : Developer

Description : As part of the professional training I was involved in developing a Leasing solution on top of Dynamics ax. This was a real time case that was re drafted for the purpose of training. ELKon is a drum leasing company where drums are leased to companies to store cable/wires/ropes. Leasing and associated features where developed to extend Ax for ELKON. The project comprised of four major feature areas.

- Drum Setup

- Drum Calculation

- Lease order

- Lease order processing and Reports

I was working as a developer and as part of a learning phase I developed strong understanding with object oriented concepts of X++ programming language including basic understanding of AOT elements. I have spent considerable time understanding to develop debugging and querying skills considering the importance it deserves in an application like Dynamics ax.

Responsibilities

As part of the development team I was involved in

- Understanding the functional specifications

- Development of the specified features

- Test and fix issues out of the project

Achievements

• I organized the management meet conducted in my College, in July 2011.

• I have participated in a Technical meet conducted at Aditya Thalash, Kakinada in Jan 2011.

• Got 1st prize in Cultural activities (Singing).

• I have participated in Social activities like blood donation and Adhaar Card campaign.
