Software Configuration Manager (Contractor)

Leading the Configuration Management for all programs of 21st Century (Farmers’ Insurance) to

migrate into Serena Dimension, then onto a new HP UNIX Itanium server, and verifying all interfaces,

databases, dependencies are in place

Creating project plans for all code migrations (design parts, workspaces, streams) to be migrated from new

development, retrofits, West Coast code, legacy code, and small account lifecycle code, including

determining resources, schedules, and issue management

Making recommendations on best practices for clean code and deliveries

Creating environments and workspaces on the new Itanium server; setting up roles; and training on tool and

processes

Library Video (Judge), Ardmore, PA Jan. 2011

Tester (Contractor)

Running test scripts to verify functionality of the Library Video website which provides all media sources to school systems

Validating requirements and maintaining various process successes/failures for future development and deployment

Merck Pharmaceutical (Paragon), West Conshohocken, PA Dec. 2010

Business Analyst (Contractor)

Worked with international Merck personnel to gather their requirements for the transition of their e-Rooms to a new Merck system, Team Center

Scheduled migrations of these e-Rooms data into Merck’s Team Center within a massive team scheduling spreadsheet

Created and documented the steps of the migration for all Merck clients throughout the world in a Team Spreadsheet

Analyzed content for best scheduling of migrations and assisting in a seamless migration with constant communication

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Philadelphia, PA 2009-2010

Configuration Manager/Process Engineer (Contractor)

Established and documented the first configuration management process and CM Plan for the worldwide Department of Defense’s Food Management Program to be used by all military services (including software and hardware processes)

Rolled out process within the Rational suite of tools for DLA (from requirements to test artifacts); this included writing requirements, setting up the structure in RQM, and working with test cases/test scripts

As project manager was responsible for Status Reports, Action Items, Project Plans, and program communications, setting standards, and naming/labeling conventions for the software and processes. Enforced project deadlines and schedules, reporting them weekly to DLA Headquarters in Washington.

Led meetings regarding the configuration control (hardware and software) for all Services of the Government to monitor requirements, implementations, and environments for consistency of deployments

Developed and delivered informative, well-organized presentations, and prepared and presented training for technical staff on a regular basis.

Software Configuration Manager (Contractor)

Successfully established a new Software Management process for Lincoln’s Retirement Program including deployments, labeling, merging, and branching using Visual Source Safe; given high-level recognition from upper management and team for a seamless transition.

Worked with third-party software developers in California to capture the desired functionality which was to be demonstrated in the build functionality

Strategically worked with software vendor to merge their development with LFG’s into all environments including establishment of environment reviews and application audits to control deployment, as well as future releases/versioning of software.

Project Manager for:

Rolling out the entire Rational suite of products: Requisite Pro, ClearCase, ClearQuest, UCM, Test Manager, Manual Tester (including documentation and training of staff), including the design and implementation thereof, under budget and within one year

Determined requirements for the rollout of the Rational tools including non-technical, technical, and architecturally
