Data mining for Direct Marketing and Customer Segmentation, August 2009 – December 2009

- Performed data cleansing and mined real time data sets from several clothing retailer companies using XL-Miner and SAS Analytics to identify target markets, customer segments and patterns.

- Implemented the concepts of Association rules and K-means clustering using XL-Miner to identify customer patterns in visiting websites of these companies and further used classification techniques like Decision tree, Neural networks, K-nearest neighbors and linear regression in SAS Enterprise Miner 4.3 to forecast profits

Data Analytics using SAS Enterprise Miner, Weka and Microsoft Excel, January 2009 - May 2009

- Wrote SAS programs using procedures like PROC FREQ, PROC ANOVA, and PROC GENMOD among others to implement models like Poisson regression, NBD regression, Negative binomial regression and Poisson distribution to perform predictive modeling in SAS enterprise miner and further verified results from the implementation of the models in Microsoft Excel.

- Further, classifiers like Naïve Bayes, Bayesian Network and Support Vector Machine and several enhancement techniques like boosting, bagging, and stacking were implemented using Weka 3.6.0 for data analysis.
