Summary

Presently working in JJ Exporters Ltd. as Asst. Manager Systems. Having more than a decade of experience in Database Administration and maintenance on various platforms. Company has successfully installed a Client Server based ERP System developed in VB6 using Oracle 9I Database Server running Windows 2000 Server.

JJ Exporters Ltd. has various units located in Bangalore, Kolkata and Bhagalpur. In Bangalore company is another Five units including two 100% EOU Garment units. Presently ERP System is running in four units located at three different locations.

I have very good knowledge of PL/SQL and my role includes Oracle DBA to maintain all these four servers and responsible for the smooth operations of the system including Database Backup, Restore, Database Fine Tuning, maintaining Triggers, Stored procedures etc. I am also exposed to DB Performance monitoring and improvement. Create standard process for DBA activities.

Every company and Server has multiple database with year wise bifurcation for Production and Export Database with accounting along with a separate databases for Price List system and Payroll.. As per the requisition of the management we retrieve and consolidate data from all the servers as and when required.

I have excellent capability of Installing, Configuring Windows 2000 Server, Oracle Database Server and Restoring the database in very short time and deploying on to the network with very minimum down time during server Up gradation/Repair/breakdown etc.

I am also responsible for maintaining the ERP Software developed in VB for any modifications and enhancements to cope up with changes in business rule and new requirements. And also to lead the in house software development team.
