Prepare and organize all aspects of enrollment for children from the ages of 3-5 years old. Help the families of the children that are enrolled in getting information on how to solve their problems. Information on Immigration, Housing, Public Assistance, WIC, Health Workshops (such as: AIDS, Cancer, Venereal Disease, etc.). Follow up with the services that were provided to the parents. Assist the teachers when help is needed in the classroom.

Tracking the attendance of the children. Provide secretarial services. Maintain positive and effective relationship with the parents. Facilitate procedures and policies for sharing records by individual school districts. Develop an understanding of school district mandates that dovetail with transitions. Develop a process for assessing school district priorities and barriers regarding transitions, including cultural/ethnical barriers. Assess/resolve internal attitudes regarding public schools. Develop a systems to assist parents in understand the public school system. Work with other component/administrative staff to integrate transition activities throughout the program. Assure that developmentally appropriate transition activities are provided in classrooms. Develop systems for Head Start teachers to meet parents or observe kindergartens and vice versa in order to share information on a child.

Prepare all of the three meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack) for the children at the Head Start. Responsible for purchasing and personally checking the food.
