Project #1 Project Name Prepaid Energy Meter

Semester 8th semester

Duration and Members in a team 3 months, 4 members

Description The aim of the project is to automate the prepaid billing of energy meter. We have designed an energy meter which has to be recharged for certain amount of consumable units. The owner of the house/industry can use the consumable amount of units and when the balance units reach a threshold value, a SMS is sent to the owner of the house to recharge for further consumption. All the transaction occurs through GSM modem by SMS.

Challenges Faced Present system of energy billing is error prone and also time

and labor consuming. Errors get introduced at every stage of

energy billing like errors with electro-mechanical meters,

Human errors and errors while processing the paid bills.

Overcome The remedy for this challenges is to keep track of the

consumers load on a timely basis, which will help in accurate

billing, track maximum demand, and detect online theft.

Benefits Reduction in Power Theft, better customer service, reduce

chance of meter tampering.

Project Name Rotating triangles

Semester 6th semester

Duration and Members in a team 3 months, 2 member

Description This project was developed for the fulfillment of 6th Semester Computer Graphics Lab under windows environment using the Open-GL tool.

This project allows us to perform several mobilized operations on a triangle. The program implements transformations such as changing color, and scaling. The triangle is built using simple triangles. The code also allows rotating the triangles along any axis.
