Roll forming machines, End form machines, crimpers, braze, and pierce machines. Monitoring hourly performance of operators and adjusting line flow to limit the effects of bottlenecks.

Manufacturing Supervisor Div. I (Power Steering)

Supervising 37 people in four departments in the creation and assembly of

Supervising 3 People on a twelve hour night shift using chemical reactions

To produce sealant with petroleum and carbon based products mixing with

Additives, catalysts, and prepolymers, mixing and dropping from vessels to produce the sealant. The system is run by a computer program and has to be monitored and checked continuously. Chemistry is to be monitored for NCO, Dryness, and viscosity by lab testing throughout the process. Kaisen improvements, 5’s, Pm’s, performed daily.

1997-2007. Supervising up to 42 associates, lines consist of 8 manual lines, 4 automated lines, 1 Repair Lathe, Manual Balance Machines, Helium Leak Testers, Water Leak Testers, and CMM. Managed A-Crew Safety, Quality, and shift performance calculated by TPP. Perform daily 5’S patrols, weekly Safety Audits and preventive maintenance to the equipment. Standardize process operations and production flows. Continuous improvement projects

with team members using 5 Principles of Problem Solving.

Quality Assurance Lead Steel Wheel Plant.

1989-1997. Leader of 5 inspectors responsible for the dimensional quality and testing of sampled parts manufactured on 2 Rim and Assembly Lines. Responsibilities included, Gauge R&R, macro bead and spot-weld penetration measurement and reporting. Tracking

and calibration of all measuring equipment. Created standards for every dimensional inspection method performed by Q.A.. Created standard for every calibration method performed by Q.A.. CMM daily operation including Customer Layouts, New Product

Confirmation, and new gauge calibration. Training of all new hires in dimensional inspection methods and basic understanding of wheel function and dimension to process application.

Mobile Unit Steel Wheel Plant.

1987-1989. Final visual inspection of product, Paint gun set up of finish coat operation, die changes at roll forming operation, grinding, welding and repairing product, and stripping and pickling operation.
