Selected Career Achievements

• South Africa: Won a multi-million year contract with the National Lottery Board. Established the bidding consortium, submitted the winning proposal and negotiated the contract with NLB. Managed the setup of the local operating company, the deployment of 8000 retail locations and organized the provision of field maintenance services. Negotiated contracts with subcontractors such as MTN (Telecom provider), consumables suppliers etc.

• Taiwan: As Proposal Manager won a 7 year contract with the China Trust Bank and participated in the contract negotiations. Managed the setup of the local subsidiary. Negotiated contracts with China Telecom for the provision of 4000 ADSL and GPRS connections, instants tickets supplier and maintenance services subcontractor.

• Australia: Participated in the setup of INTRALOT Australia supervising the construction of local premises, personnel hiring and selection of retailers’ network. Worked closely with the local Telecom Provider, Optus Australia, for the implementation of a 3G retail network of 800 locations in Victoria. Successfully launched the internet sales channel of the licensed games, the installation and maintenance of the retail network.

• Responsible for the company’s operations in Caribbean & Central America.

• Set up Lottery & Sports Betting operations in Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Jamaica & Suriname
