CAREER OBJECTIVE
I’m looking for a career in the Metal Stamping industry that would utilize my talents and experience in leading a stamping plant, engineering team, or die build shop.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have over 20 years experience in the Metal Stamping industry.
Designed and detailed progressive, line, and transfer dies for all the manufacturing industries. Have extensive knowledge of part developments, strip layouts, draws, forms, and cams. Experienced with 50 to 2000 ton presses. Worked with 40 different tool & die shops and 70 different stamping plants.
Implemented and cataloged over 100 standard die components to reduce our customers die build costs and improve performance. I also created a die designer manual to reduce 99% of all designer mistakes.
Hired, trained, and supervised designers teaching standard die practices and current industry standards. I resolved design and employee issues and coordinated projects efficiently.
Provided quotes and cost analysis. Negotiated prices and time lines effectively. Traveled to our customer’s facilities to provide onsite support and troubleshooting.
I’ve designed projects with various cad software including AutoCAD, Cadkey, KeyCreator, and Catia. Currently I’m solid modeling with SolidWorks. I’m familiar with UG and Pro E software.
I also have experience with Microsoft office programs.
