The testing of the services involves testing call flow scenarios on all the three switches.

Description: : ATLAS is an inventory management system and Sprint-Nextel is using this system for managing their inventory of more than 60,000 Cell Sites. Nextel is part of a dynamic industry. Assets continually move through the Sprint-Nextel network due to maintenance, enhancements, new site builds, and a number of other reasons. Effective asset management is essential in allowing Nextel to succeed in the communications industry.

ATLAS Applications Details:

ATLAS is having 4 different applications and 1 Interface:

a. EMPAC (developed by Indus Solutions, USA): is Asset management system. Used for work order, stores, asset, employee etc managemt.

b. PowerPac (developed by Indus Solutions, USA): used to correct data discrepancies between system records and the actual disposition of equipment.

c. mWareHouse (developed by Infowave Solutions, USA): used for issues/ receipts of item, inventory functions, search, RMA transactions.

d. mFieldWorks (developed by Infowave Solutions, USA): view asset configurations, site-specific operational information, and inventory availability in Cell Site.

e. CSI (Custom System Interface): This interface make link between different databases and environment (like Peoplesoft, EMPAC database).
