Field Service - Technical Support Engineer
Summary of Qualifications:
Extensive experience with call center and field technical support services encompassing skills and responsibilities for the set-up and installation, maintenance, and repair of a broad scope of medical and manufacturing based equipment and machinery.
Hands-on experience with prototype development processes in addition to in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of technologies including: CT/PET, digital x-ray imaging, laser direct imaging, motion controls, PLC, CNC automation, and x-ray detection systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, extensive travel to Asian and European customer sites, experience with call center based support and “24 / 7 On Call Services.”

Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities also proficiency with the following computer hardware and applications: PC’s, Sun Spark and Blade series hardware, TCP/IP, VPN, VMware, site to site networking protocols, MS-DOS, Windows 2000/XP, Vista, Linux, Unix, MS-Office, and Oracle. Experience with a wide variety of test equipment including digital VOM, oscilloscopes, Keithley kV / mAs meters, laser interferometers, optical and RF measuring devices.
