● Development Of Web Based Access Control Application Software [PHP, MySql] :

Worked as Web Developer for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India. From July 15th 2009 to April 30th 2010.

The basic requirement was to maintain the security of the research centre. The project deals with the development of web based access control application to manage the centralized database of the daily entries and exits of visitors’ and employers of BARC.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

● Web Search Engine [Windows, Java]:

Designed and Developing a Web Search Engine for the course Informational Retrieval in Java using different modules like crawling, indexing, retrieving and query processing.

● Advanced Computer Networks - [Java] :

Developed a method to find the best multi-hop path having maximum throughput in a multi-hop wireless network connection. This method included bi-directional searching technique.

● Minesweeper Game [Java]:

Developed the game in Java which was based on the course Artificial Intelligence. Implemented the game with three different levels of difficulty and with an emphasis on the design of the user interface using Java Applets.

● Database Design Term Project: MM Company Management System [Oracle]

Created an efficient MM Company Management System as part of the Database Design course. Successfully converted EER model to relational schema and developed efficient queries to deliver the extracted result.

● Online Movie Ticketing [HTML, CSS, PHP and MySql]: Developed a Web Technology project, a website for a theatre to display the list ongoing movies and their reviews; with an option in the user interface to enable the user to select available seats and snacks online.

● Hotel Reservation System: Designed this system as a part of the course in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Performed basic requirement gathering, analysis and design which included study of UML diagrams.

● Mobile Application Development: Developed a simple Android mobile application to demonstrate the application life cycle with more emphasis on the design of the layout at the Samsung Mobile Application Development workshop.
