RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED: -

• Witnessed stage wise inspection of painting in Pipelines, Exchangers, Valves & Structural. This includes surface preparation, checking the DFT of various coats.

• Ensuring Painting activities carried out to the company’s standards and specifications.

• Identify quality problems and non-conformity and recommend corrective and preventive actions on a continual basis.

• Follow up of non-conformities and corrective & preventive action taken.

• Verifying records of calibration, inspection and test equipments.

• Reviewing the Inspection Test plan and Quality Procedures and obtaining approval from the client.

• Ensure that weather conditions (viz. Relative Humidity and Dew Point) are suitable for surface preparation and paint application.

• Inspection of Blasting & Painting Activities at site.

• Holiday testing of field coatings as per the approved procedure

• Handling of inspection Instruments like, WFT Gauge, DFT Gauge, Surface profile gauge, Dew point meter, Holiday Detector.

• Ensure that the surface cleanliness and surface profile of blast-cleaned surface are in accordance with the specification requirements.

• Verification of Documents & Records.
