Position Held: Ink Technician White Bluff, TN

Formulate uv and water based inks for press jobs. Responsibilities: formulate inks and match to pantone

and to individual customer specifications. Tone and troubleshoot ink problems

at press. Work with Art Department and customer on formulating inks on color

approval visits to insure customer satisfaction with finished product.

Interstate Packaging Feb 1998-Aug 2005

Position Held: Press Operator White Bluff, TN

Press operations for high volume flexographic printing company. Responsible for quality print.

Duties: pull rolls off front of press, weigh them, and do appropriate paper work. During set-up,

work impressions, set register, mix and tone inks. Work hand in hand with supervisors in deciding

lay down of job and annilox rollers to use. Help assemble and disassemble press. Responsible for

supervision of press helper in all of his/her job responsibilities.

Interstate Packaging Oct 1996 to Feb 1998

Position Held: Press Assistant White Bluff, TN

Assistant to press operator. Responsibilities: check viscosity of inks, mount film on press, make

splices, cut cores for operator and prepare press for next job including but not limited to gear up of

cylinders, pull inks, build doctor blades, and insure wash-up used in cleaning pumps. Help

assemble and disassemble press. Label and return ink and wash-up to appropriate locations.
