Quartztech Engineering, Inc.

General Manager of Quality Control, February 2007 – present

Quartztech is a Salt Lake City-based manufacturer of state-of-the-art quartz, silicon, and ceramic products for the semiconductor Industry. Customers include SVG Thermco, Motorola, Mitsubishi Silicon, Semitool, Fairchild, Microsemi, Hewlett Packard and Advance Power Technology.

Professional highlights include the following:

· Works with CAD design to develop new products and revise existing products

· Writes and utilizes CNC programs (standard G code programming, CAD/CAM) and operates CNC machines

· Interprets, designs and modifies customer blueprints

· Operates conventional machines, including lathe, milling machines, surface grinders, etc.

· Ensures a fully compliant response to client components requirements

· Oversees quality objectives by performing first article inspections, random in process inspections and final inspections using micrometers, height gages, pin gages, dial indicators and CMM Carl-Zeiss with Calypso metrology software

· Ensures adherence to strict packaging requirements

Internship in Novkabel in the CAD/CAM department (Europe)

Assistant to the chief of CAD department, January - June 2006.

· Prepared drawings and technical documentation for internal audit using the AutoCAD program

· Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS software

· Certified for CNC 88HS Controller (Fadal Operator and Programming Course, Los Angeles, CA)
