HSBC is a leader in providing credit services to retailers and consumers. It is a full-service provider of credit card programs servicing clients in many industries including: Appliance & Electronics, Department Stores, Discount Industries, Home furnishings, Home Improvement, Oil and Gasoline, and Specialty Retailing such as home shopping and apparel. The project involved testing the client/server applications developed for Credit Card Activation system. This system was used when a customer called in to activate the Credit Card.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in constant reviewing business and functional requirements to ensure the integrity of the development process.

• Involved in extensive SQL coding since the products are heavily database oriented.

• Created SQL scripts to query system views and tables to validate the Database and get performance related statistics.
