Farruki Pulp Mills Gujrat as Process Engineer since

June 2011 till date .

The Process Engineer is primarily responsible for assisting the production

management team in ensuring a safe and efficient pulp manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

Assist in troubleshooting problems and teaching others how to react

Assist in the planning and completion of production projects

Monitor daily production to ensure that operating and quality standards are respected

Coordinate special testing required by operations personnel including test result analysis and reporting.

Execute and supervise mill trials.

Assess the performance of the digester / brown stock / chemical preparation areas daily, reporting any quality, process, cost or KPI issues at the production meetings. Identify process / equipment issues that require maintenance intervention to rectify / restore efficient operation and issue work requests if required.

Optimize existing and future mill processes in a manner, which maximizes efficiency of the company mill while adhering to customer specified quality

Identify, recommend and initiate improvements to the process or operating procedures, which will enhance any aspect of mill operations with respect to process safety, environment impact, quality, production and cost

Monitor raw material usage on a daily basis, take corrective action as appropriate and participate in month-end process

Support modification or improvement processes, as necessary

Support development and execution of special projects in a mill, as necessary

Work as part of a Mill team to improve performance of the pulp mill

Keep up to date with new technology and management methods

Flying Pulp & Paper industries as Process Engineer from

March 2006 to June 2011 .

Responsible to provide the application of chemical engineering and pulp and paper fundamentals to improve product quality, process efficiency and production as well as reduce costs to help the mill meet overall goals

Assists the Technical Supervisor in operation of the laboratory and supervision of wage employees in the lab and works vendors for the potential use of new equipment, instrumentation and chemicals

Analyzes projects, recommends maintenance or capital projects and

suggests operational changes
